Picture Day reimagined

our goal is to provide a safe and custom boutique experience to all families attending the schools who have chosen dolph photo co to photograph their students.

Our service is personal, safe, and professional. Child safety, privacy, and the responsible handling of student images are of the utmost importance to us. Our ordering process is completely online and designed with student privacy as our number one priority! And unlike large, corporate photography operations, we only take on a select number of schools so that we can provide superior customer service and artistic images. But that doesn’t mean you have to compromise on professionalism, quality, or time. We provide a more personal and what we believe to be better experience for both the schools and the families we work with.

Our aim is to capture the essence of the children in front of the camera. We will never force a smile. No awkward poses or faces, just the authentic child, on the day. The results are genuine and timeless portraits that are far from the traditional cheesy photos we have become accustomed to with  unflattering, busy backgrounds.  We provide a light and fun experience for your children and take pride in providing an environment where the kids can relax and be themselves, naturally.

Meet your school Photographers

north east pennsylvania based

Dolph Photo Co. is a family-owned school photography company founded by sisters-in-law and longtime best friends, Erika and Jessika.

We created Dolph Photo Co. to offer schools a more thoughtful approach to picture day, combining professional service, beautiful portraiture, and the personal attention of a small, locally owned company.

The safety and privacy of the students we photograph are central to the way we operate. From the people working alongside us to the systems used to manage and deliver student images, we take seriously the responsibility schools and families place in our hands.

Because we intentionally serve a select number of schools, we’re able to remain closely involved throughout the entire process. Schools know who they’re working with, families know who is photographing their children, and our team is available from the planning stages through final delivery.

Rather than receiving a single pre-selected pose, each student will have a selection of approximately 2–5 images presented in both color and black and white. Families can view their child’s private online gallery and choose the images they love before deciding what they would like to purchase.

Before Photo Day

We make sure families know exactly what to expect. Before photo day, parents receive step-by-step videos covering everything they need to know, from preparing their child for their portrait to accessing their gallery and placing an order afterward.

We provide all photography equipment and personnel needed for photo day and work directly with the school to coordinate the details, keeping the process simple for administrators, teachers, and families.

After Photo Day

Families receive access to their child’s private online gallery, where they can view their images and order in just a few simple steps. We offer professional prints, digital images, and boutique products such as mugs, magnets, keychains, and more.

There are no paper order forms to keep track of and no print packages being sent home in backpacks. Orders are placed online and prints and products are shipped directly to each family’s doorstep.

We also handle parent questions regarding galleries, ordering, and products so your school staff doesn’t have to.

HOW IS A FINE ART SCHOOL PORTRAIT DIFFERENT THAN STANDARD SCHOOL PHOTOS?

We provide Fine Art School Portraits for students of all age. We are a completely online operation. Families are given a QR code that links a safe, online gallery. Child galleries are individual and private. Each gallery is set up according to grade, classroom, homeroom, advisory, or whatever grouping is best for the school.

Our ordering process is designed with student privacy in mind. Families receive a QR code that provides access to a secure online portal, with each student’s images kept individual and private. Student photos are never placed in a publicly searchable gallery or made available for general viewing.

For organization, galleries can be structured according to the system that works best for each school, such as grade, classroom, homeroom, or advisory, while maintaining private access to each student’s images.

WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

do you provide class photos?

Yes! In addition to individual student portraits, we can provide staff and class photos based on your school’s needs. Schools receive the high-resolution student files needed for approved school purposes, such as yearbooks, student IDs, and school materials. If your school needs class photos, we will take them either on photo day as a group or arrange the individual photos onto a template that will be available when the online galleries become available.

Every school operates a little differently, so we’re happy to customize our photography services and photo-day workflow to fit your school’s specific needs.

Fine art school photography gives families more choice, schools less administrative work, and children portraits that feel like them.

HOW MANY STUDENTS CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE?

We’re equipped to photograph schools of all sizes, from smaller programs with around 30 students to large schools with 1,000 or more.

We’ve photographed thousands of children ranging in age from infancy through high school. Our process is designed to keep photo day organized, efficient, and enjoyable, regardless of the size of your school.

WHAT TIME OF YEAR DO YOU OFFER FINE ART SCHOOL PORTRAITS?

We offer a range of collections and à la carte options at varying price points, allowing each family to choose what works best for them. *Please note that pricing is subject to change.*
